Why Chihuahua?

Chihuahua is the useless meme coin on Cosmos. Or is it? Chihuahua is experiencing exponential growth, and a recent governance proposal shows that it intends to be anything but useless. The recent creation of a Chihuahua Community DAO, upcoming NFT releases and more, it may be the chain that brings the most light to the Cosmos universe.

Here are answers to some of the questions that we have been asked. Please join our telegram or email us if you have additional questions or need assistance with delegating.

What is Chihuahua?

Chihuahua is the useless meme coin on Cosmos. To learn more, please visit the website.

What is delegating?

If you hold Chihuahua (HUAHUA), you can delegate those tokens to a validator. By delegating HUAHUA, you help secure the network. You get part of the rewards provided by the protocol for this assistance. Delegating will help you accumulate more HUAHUA while contributing to the health of the network.

Do I lose ownership of my tokens?

Absolutely not. You are not giving away ownership of HUAHUA by delegating. RHINO does not take ownership of your HUAHUA. We cannot move or transfer your HUAHUA.

What are the risks of delegating Chihuahua?

Chihuahua penalizes any validator that misses too many blocks or double signs a block by slashing the staked amount on that validator. The RHINO team has our own capital on the line, so we are fully incentivized to do our best to prevent such events. However, delegators must be aware that this slashing risk will always exist.

Does RHINO self-stake Chihuahua?

Absolutely. The RHINO team utilizes multiple wallets and currently stakes a healthy percentage of the HUAHUA on the RHINO Validator. We are heavily incentivized to deliver highly performant and secure validation services.

What does RHINO receive from this?

We charge a 5% commission of the block rewards received. This is the lowest rate available on Chihuahua. For example, if a delegator (you) receives 100,000 HUAHUA as a reward, RHINO will receive 5,000 HUAHUA while you will receive 95,000 HUAHUA.

How can I undelegate my HUAHUA?

Undelegating (also called unbonding or unstaking) can be done anytime. However, it takes approximately 28 days for your HUAHUA to undelegate and become transferable. You will not earn rewards during this period. As another option, you can instantly transfer a delegated amount to another validator.

Can I transfer my HUAHUA to another validator?

Yes, instantly. If you’re unhappy with RHINO’s ability to perform validation services, you can instantly transfer your stake to another validator. This is called "redelegating". There is no "unbonding" period to perform this action.
